Hello. My name is Jackson Butterglove, and I live in the village of Mellowdene, a friendly community in Sylvania. You will meet some of my neighbours in due course - well, if all goes to plan. I know that sounds a little fluffy, but as Wally Waters says, "so are we."
For now, I will simply say "Welcome" and let you know that I have been asked to share tales about the families in the village. Some of these I will write myself, but I know that some others are keen to tell their own stories. When I get these I will adopt the mantle of editor. Once written up, I will pass on the stories to Darcy Fielding who publishes the Mellowdene Examiner. Depending on content, some will appear in special editions of the newspaper, but primarily he says he wants to give our scribblings a wider audience (using something called the Interweb, I believe). Maybe you're an interwebby person!
